Our Mission

Sound Hounds is a dog park advocacy group working with Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater, Thurston County, and other jurisdictions to provide a variety of successful off-leash areas for South Puget Sound residents and visitors.

Dog Park Benefits

Dog parks are places where people and their dogs can socialize, exercize, and have fun.
 
Dog parks create diverse, active, caring communities.
 
Dog parks increase responsible pet ownership and decrease vandalism and crime.
 
Dog parks are attractions that boost tourism and economic vitality.
